HOW TO USE

Moisten coin, unroll cloth, and sweep away cleanser, dirt and grime. 

  • To remove cleanser, including cleansing balm and oil, moisten a coin with water, unroll into a cloth, and sweep the damp cloth over your face, rinsing as needed.
  • To lather your cleanser and more deeply clean your pores, drape a moistened coin turned cloth over your fingers and massage your face in circular motions. Cleanser can be applied directly to your face or onto the damp cloth.
  • To remove makeup with micellar water or makeup remover, soak a Cleansing Coin in your formula of choice, unroll into a cloth, and sweep the cloth over your face, rinsing as needed.

      The Skinsheet's products are made from 100% cotton cellulose, a highly biodegradable fiber that is naturally derived from cotton. Cotton linter is usually wasted, but with The Skinsheet products, it is dissolved into cellulose fibers and spun without binders or additives. The Skinsheet’s materials are certified for industrial and home compost, and soil and marine biodegradability.

        Do The Cleansing Coins have cleanser?
        The Cleansing Coins are not manufatured with cleanser or skincare formulas. They are intended to be used with your favorite skincare formulas including cleanser, cleansing balm and oil, micellar water and more.
        Can The Cleansing Coins replace my washcloths?
        Yes! The Cleansing Coins, turned cloths, are more hygienic and gentle than washcloths and are ideal for both lathering and removing cleasner. They are also very low waste, breaking down in just 2-4 weeks.
        Can I use The Cleansing Coins every day?
        You can use them twice a day! While The Cleansing Coins do have a woven texture to thoroughly cleanse, gently exfoliate and remove dirt, grime and makeup, they are gentle enough to use daily.
        Can I use The Cleansing Coins if I have sensitive skin?
        Yes! The Cleansing Coins are ideal for sensitive skin. Made from 100% cotton cellulose, they are free from lint and friction, and more gentle than muslins, bamboo cloths and washcloths.
        Are The Cleansing Coins single-use?
        The Cleansing Coins are intended to be single use, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference. If you do decide to re-use a cloth, make sure to rinse it well and hang to dry to prevent the growth of bacteria.
        How should I dispose of The Cleansing Coins?
        Toss them in your home compost bin or trash can! The Skinsheet products are made from materials certified for industrial compost, home compost, soil biodegradability and marine biodegradability, so you can dispose of them, sans guilt.
        Are The Cleansing Coins recyclable?
        No, they are not recyclable. They are certified for soil and marine biodegradability, and industrial and home compost. They break down in 1-3 weeks, much faster than cotton pads.

        I've been using Skinsheets for awhile. I love that they are biodegradable. They are super gentle on my sensitive skin. Easy to use multiple times.

        Super Gentle Sustainable Skincare Accessory~

        Compostable, biodegradable, portable, all the 'ables', including adorable! I fill up a cup with warm distilled water and let a coin soak for a little while to make it extra soft. It has the loveliest, gentle texture, and then I just dunk it back into the cup with distilled water to finish washing up. No tap water touching my face! I know people are reusing it, but I don't see the point in that, esp. for us germaphobes. I also purchased the companion product-the Multiuse Facial Sheets. I love that you can customize the size and thickness of the sheets you want to use. They are great for blotting and patting excess toner/serum into skin. I would prefer that the sheets have a texture similar to the coins, at least for washing. Or offer 2 textures! Overall, love both products! 🩵
